Porbeagle Shark

Argh sorry to be uploading this late... again, only had the heart to digitally color, but it looks less... messy... XD

This was supposed to be for my Day 5 of Shark Week. :3

Here we've got the Porbeagle Shark (Lamna nasus), a member of the shark family known as the Mackerel Sharks (Lamnids). This species is the ecological equivalent of a Salmon Shark, but it is found in the Atlantic instead of the Pacific. :3
I love how stocky these guys are; also, their eyes. So cute. >3<
What's really neat about 'em is they've got a rather large nose that is supported by calcified (hardened) cartilage. They also have a distinctive white patch on the back part of their first dorsal fin.

LOL went texture crazy with this because the skin has a strange, dirty look to it. Also... boring unoriginal body posture is boring. I was having trouble with this one for some reason.
